## Frequently Asked Questions

### How do I get started?

Simply book a free 15-minute discovery call using the form above. We'll discuss your health goals, answer your questions, and determine if our program is right for you.

### Do I need a prescription?

Yes. GLP-1 peptides are prescription medications. Our physicians will assess your health and provide a prescription if appropriate for your situation.

### Is this covered by insurance?

The program fee ($1,500/year) is not typically covered by insurance. However, medication costs may be eligible for coverage depending on your plan. We can provide documentation for insurance submissions.

### Can I participate if I live outside Ontario?

Currently, our program is available to Ontario residents only due to medical licensing regulations. We offer virtual consultations for your convenience.

### Is Pure Peptide Collective HIPAA compliant?

Yes, we are fully committed to HIPAA compliance. We implement comprehensive technical, physical, and administrative safeguards to protect your Protected Health Information (PHI). This includes encryption, secure access controls, and regular security audits.

### How is my health information protected?

Your health data is encrypted both in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We maintain comprehensive audit logs of all access to your PHI, implement role-based access controls, and ensure only authorized healthcare providers can view your information. Our secure patient portal requires authentication to access your records.

### What are my rights regarding my health information?

Under HIPAA, you have the right to access your health records, request corrections, receive an accounting of disclosures, request restrictions on how your information is used, and receive confidential communications. You can review our complete HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices in your patient portal or request a copy from our team.

### Who has access to my health information?

Only authorized healthcare providers directly involved in your care can access your health information. All access is logged and monitored. We never share your PHI with third parties without your explicit written consent, except as required by law or for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations.
